Invented by the Egyptians we have yet to come up with anything more effective. Used in our most potent products for eradicating acne, black heads, clogged pores and razor bumps.

Activated charcoal is what is in your Brita water filter, that black stuff that sometimes bubbles up? That is activated charcoal. It is what is purifying your water, it is what hospitals use if you've ingested any poison or been bitten by anything poisonous.

Therefore, topically on the face and body it will pull out any toxins, bacteria, acne, blackheads, clogged pores or razor bumps. One single gram of active charcoal has a surface area of over 5400 square feet which is the secret behind its potency. There is a little over a gram in every 16-ounce jar.

Why use this ingredient? 

For its adsorption qualities. As quickly as your water flows through your Brita water filter is all the time that our products need. Anything that Activated Charcoal deems as inorganic will be adsorbed, trapped and then washed away in your shower or sink. The only thing Activated Charcoal does not go after is hydration (moisture is organic) so it will not dry out your skin.

This is the gentler cousin of Activated Charcoal. Pulling out toxins, impurities and metals in a gentler, more hydrating rate. 

We use a Natural Sodium Bentonite Clay formed from volcanic ash that is mined in Wyoming where around 50 million years ago volcanos erupted leaving behind this mineral rich clay. Bentonite Clay has a negative electromagnetic charge that when activated by water acts like a magnet pulling out toxins and impurities. It also has an effect on the body's pH and provides the body with minerals such as sodium and calcium.

Why use this ingredient? 

We use Bentonite Clay for its gentler detoxing qualities. Bentonite Clay is a mineral and will help detox your face and body in a gentler more organic way leaving your skin more hydrated while smoothing out fine lines and creases. This mineral will help detox, purify and rid the body of any metals but unlike Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay will leave your body with more hydration and scant deposits of magenese, calcium and sodium. This is a product that is better for skin with more life experience or for those who reside in drier, colder climates.

This is truly a wonder oil. Not only will coconut oil help reduce fine lines, hydrate the skin, reduce redness and swelling, help even out skin tones and reduce sun spots, but it has many medicinal advantages as well. Coconut oil helps kill bacteria, fungus, some viruses and helps to clear up infections. Our coconut oil is wet milled and not processed, it comes from a 500-year-old coconut farm in the Philippines. We use the most pure and potent form of coconut oil found in the world. 

Why use this ingredient?

Coconut oil is anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. Whatever your skin ailment this wonder oil will help:

Rashes, Eczema, Psoriasis, Shingles, Cold Sores, Dermatitis, Athlete's Foot, Candida and Keratosis Pilaris

When used in our Toothpaste, Coconut Oil may help re-mineralize tooth enamel, help against receding gums and if gargled is a nice alternative to oil pulling, which some of us just can't handle, me included.

An all natural soap, meaning our products contain no dye, detergent, glycerine, alcohols, acids, parabens or petroleum or preservatives. There is nothing to dry out your skin, this is a truly clean cleanser.

Regular or clear Apple Cider Vinegar has been filtered and pasteurised. The Mother in Apple Cider Vinegar is the cloudy substance floating in some ACV bottles. It’s The Mother that is rich in health-boosting natural protein, healthy bacteria and acetic acid. The Mother is what holds most of the nutrients of ACV, strip it of The Mother and you seriously dilute its benefits. This is why we only use ACV with The Mother.

This is a magnificent oil, the best one I’ve come across so far. It is a Passion Fruit that comes from the Amazon. Maracuja or passion fruit oil is a rich in  essential antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It has the ability to moisturize as it easily penetrates deep into the skin while preventing moisture from seeping out. Just a few of its vitamins and minerals include flavonoids, vitamin A, vitamin C, riboflavin, niacin, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and protein. Maracuja is considered to be one of the most powerfully protective compounds known to man and offers numerous beneficial compounds, including potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and may work as an anti-allergen.

It is Anti-aging, firming & hydrating decreasing the look of fine lines and smaller wrinkles. Brightening, nourishing, collagen boosting and anti-inflammatory this oil can be used on any type of skin as it will moisturize without fear of clogging pores.

Why use this ingredient?

Honey is a natural humectant and pulls hydrogen to the skin helping the skin to plump and stay hydrated (This helps ward off cracking or peeling lips curing sun or wind burn in our Lip Scrub.)

Since it is one of the strongest antibacterials there is, it is perfect for helping clear up acne. It also helps open up skin pores so that they maybe cleaned out helping rid of all sorts of impurities.

Another ingredient brought to us by the Egyptians. For use in literally every aspect of our lives it can be a godsend for skin, helping puffy, inflamed, acne prone or oily skin. 

Why this ingredient? 

Baking soda is a great exfoliator and pH balancer to soften and brightening skin, help shrink pores & reduce oil production. The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of baking soda also help kill acne, black heads & relieve ingrown hairs. 

In our Toothpaste, it acts an astringent that helps remove stains and whiten the teeth by releasing free radicals which break down the stain molecules on your enamel. Sodium Bicarbonate will also help reduce tartar, plaque build up and also fight bad breath. Please do take note that while Baking Soda is amazing for overall dental hygiene and quality, it is an astringent and slightly abrasive, overuse can cause harm to your enamel. Please use with care and responsibility.
